Rolling out a Chromebook 1:1

The Fond du Lac School District hired four secondary teachers to be the Technology Integration Specialists (Tech Team). These teachers were charged with the responsibility of getting the district ready for the 1:1 initiative for 2012-2013 school year.  The team has successfully rolled out the largest Chromebook implementation  in the state by preparing staff and students over the past year. The team focused mainly on professional development with staff including: individualized appointments, small group and large group sessions, GAFE (Google Apps for Education) and Google Chrome, Chromebook pilots, and Web 2.0 tools. The team is looking forward to sharing their experiences with the Google Summit attendees.
